Been driving my '92 as a daily driver since I got it.[I love this truck]
It is a 318 auto- club cab 4x4 with 129k miles.
I bought everything to tune it up after seeing the plug wires are dated 1991!
It was'nt licenced for 1 1/2 years before I got it.
The first mpg check was 14.46 mpg. the second was 15.44 mpg. I checked the last tank 16.0. All were 50/50 city highway.

I have been driving "nice", no jumping off the line, and not too many kickdowns when accelerating.

So, I'm happy. Does this sound about right

i got about 17 city/highway with my 93 5.2l cc 2wd but i was only driving 8 miles in the city a day and 20 on the highway daily

 

Im getting 16.5 average. Mostly Freeway. 95 318 auto 4x4.
