Got the roof of the truck, and the hood rock guarded yesterday!!

Hey, it's better than a truck payment! Putting some money and sweat into your truck, that is. I like it!

I have never heard of rock guarding, I'll have to look that up. It looks good though.

The actual product I am using is called Rocker Guard. I buy it at Canadian Tire. It's basically a rubberized material just like Line-x, but a lot cheaper. Its primarily used to protect your rocker panels and cab corners, but I thought it would be neat to do the whole truck with the stuff. Cheaper than a paint job too! Considering putting grey tremclad over once the whole truck is finished. Should be into the paint for about $300 - $400 in the end as apposed to $2 to $3 grand or whatever it costs for a new paint job. Still need a new passenger side fender and a tailgate to be able to fully finish the truck, but those are the only pieces rotten to the point of having to replace them.
