There seems to be people around here that know what they are talking about, so this shouldn't hurt too much...

I have a 1993 reg cab sport 4x4, and i noticed an increasing vibration. Eventually, the back u-joint snapped. Replaced u-joint, but now i have a nasty shimmy coming from the front of the truck. Crawled undernieth, and the tcase is cracked at the output shaft housing.. Might that have anything to do with the shimmy, our did i beak something else, too?
Any help would be appreciated.

My guess is yes, and it is possible you may have a bad bearing allowing some wobble that may have led to the crack.
