Default I need your opinions on this..

My '92 4x4 has the stock fugly [imho] directional wheels. The truck is white with the red pin stripes. I dont want to spend any money on new / used wheels. [yet, if at all] So I am thinking about painting the fugly wheels black. [ maybe Satin black] Then my friend suggested a small red stripe around them after the black paint.

Thoughts? Comments? Advise on the paint?

I think that would look cool. I am thinking about doing that to my wheels

I powder-coated my stock aluminum alloy rims a while back. They looked great.

Here is a quick picture, the tires and rims are not clean at that time obviously.

Stock was like this but dirtier. LOL.

That actually makes those wheels look tough. I like it! Thanks, that is what I will do!

I didn't mind those wheels on my '92 or my '93 that I had. Both had those wheels at first, but the stupid center caps never stay on. I eventually put the 2nd gen 15x8's on my '92, and my '93 got the 16x8 version. Both were 4x4, so fitment was not much of a problem.
