1996 Dodge Dakota just started revving up when I take it out of gear to about 2000rmp for a few seconds and then goes back to normal. Then yesterday wile pulling into a parking lot in 3rd gear it felt like the throttle got stuck so I pulled it out of gear and then revved for a few seconds and went back down to normal. What could this be?

 

Sticky or carboned up IAC. Could be that the throttle itself is binding open, either the butterfly on the throttle body or the throttle cable.
