Hi guys I have a 1998 Dodge Durango with 155,000 mile I bought it 6 months ago for $500 and I love it!!! Has some rust replaced brake pads plugs, points etc but it ran great. Today it made a whining noise and then sounded like a belt broke and was whipping around. Thought maybe timming belt but understand the 5.2 318 uses a chain any ideas I hate going to mechanic and not knowing whats wrong and getting robbed. Thanks in advance really want to get my "Beast" running nice agian it's the best vehicale ever owned in almost 40 years of driving.
