Injector signal, also, it's time to break out and borrow or buy a fuel pressure tester - you can have pressure, but if it's too low or too high (and the ideal is something like 14.5 psi!), the injectors won't fire properly. Then also use a NOID set to make sure you're firing.
I had the same problem with one of my injectors - the ECU quit firing the injector.
I'm about to try my third ECU to fix it. I have one that does that perfectly, but it's a California ECU in a Federal car - which means i keep getting "POWER LOSS" due to the EGR feed back solenoid not testing OK (which makes sense, for 1988 that's a California-only part!)
