1994 dodge dakota 5.2 vacuum line doesn't look right
I just took some pictures of it but it looks like someone put the wrong tube because it's smashed in the middle when the engine is running. What do you guys think or what tube should I replace it with? Or could something be wrong?
I'd replace it. But that front one especially isn't a "vacuum" line, but an emissions line; a straight vacuum line WILL do that after a while as it breaks down!
Get some of the fuel and emission line to go in there to the PCV valve; won't hurt to use that on that back one too.
EDIT: And if that's the same line, just two different views, it really does need to be replaced. Along with the PCV valve. Note: Most aftermarket valves will gulp the oil compared to a Mopar valve; just get the Mopar valve (even if it is $14 or so!) and save your oil money.
Yeah,RalphP that is the same line two views, thanks for the info I will get a new PCV Mopar valve and hose for it! I just saw it the other day and was like what the hell! lol
