Have an opportunity to pickup a 1990 4x4 5spd and I'm doing some homework here to get a lay of the land. It'd just be a work truck for us around town to haul goodies to and from wherever. Occasional runs to the mountains or desert with the dirt bikes in the back

It seems like fueling issues are a bit prevalent in the pre-magnum gen1s now that they're as old as they are...a quick glance online and it seems that full new throttle body assemblies and other components are getting a bit more difficult to source reliably. Wondering if I'm just not looking in the right places OR if there are aftermarket options that would make more sense than OEM replacements. What about for intake manifold and top end goodies? Any places outside of this forum y'all recco for a new comer?

In that vein; we'd wanna have a little fun with the truck to give it the home we feel it deserves...anything Gen1 owners tend to think as a 'must do' modification?
