Default Front Coil Springs for 91 Ext Cab

Hi everyone...I did a search of the site but came up empty...I have a 91 2wd Dakota ext cab with the 5.2L, I'm trying to find new front coil springs for this beast and all I've found so far is 2" lowering coils from Belltech. If possible I'd like to get stock height coils. Does anyone here know of a part number/manufacturer for 1st gen coils? I did read that they are the same as the 2nd gen coils...can anyone confirm this?

Much appreciate the help!!

I would try a junk yard, it would be your best bet.

Thanks...I've considered that and may end up going that route but I'd prefer new springs if I can get them...I can get new rear springs made locally for a good price so I could just drop the truck a couple of inches and go with the Belltech front springs

I'm having the same problem finding a front coil spring. I have a broken one and need to replace for a mechanical. The only place I can find them are from the dealer.. and thats $$. I don't want to get one from ajunk yardand possibily end up having my truck sit unlevel, peace of mind to get a both replaced. So I think I'm going the 2 inch drop springs from belltech, like you mentioned.

Doesn't seem to be a whole lot of choice does there...I'm thinking later this summer I'll replace all four springs and shocks...guess I'll be loking for wheels now as well
