Hi dodge boys/girls, can anyone tell me what the axle codes are on a 96 Dak.

what kind of codes are you talking about?

if your talking about the type of axle you have, you will either have a 7.25 or 8.25.

Vin number codes for axle ratios. I amdoing this for a friend of mine.
I have a ram which is on the underside of the engine hood. Are Dakotas in the same location?

Where on the truck would it tell me the axle ratio.
Eg:
3:21
3:55
3:92
