Steering Sindle nut

Default Steering Sindle nut

Hey, just wondering if anybody happens to know the front steering spindle nut torque? (or whatever their called, they hold hold the rotor on). The cheap manual I purchased does not show any listing of this.

I always tighten til the rotor wont spin without force and the back off 1/4 turn and see how she fells then put the cotter pin in.

ya, and if you tighten it too much, then you will wear out your wheel bearing.

K, thanks, I sorta remembered that from back in the day taking auto class... but I wasn't quite sure.
