Default Cold Air

Ok so i wanna do a cold air intake but i herd that its not good to do on a carburated motor, what could i do that would have the same effect as a cold air? The truck is a 1990 Dakota 3.9L V6 Auto Carb any ideas?

ya, mines throttle body injection and I have a CAI. and people with hotrods have CAI too. you will have no problem

I made my own, I just got a piece of PVC pipe and attatched it to the TB. then took a cone filter and put that ontop of the pipe, and now it sticks out of my hood getting true cold air. I know you cant do anything like that, but try ebay and see what you can come up with.
