so i have a 92 dakota 318 and i replaced my fuel filter, fuel pump and the pressure valve to go on top (old 1 broke) there was $240 then i tried to start it and sprayed gas down the throttle body and it didnt start so i went back to the fuel pump and pulled on the gas line and gas sprayed every where lol so i no its getting gas then i go to test spark and none so i go to autozone and bought 8 plugs and wires bout $45 so i installed them and still nothing where do u think i should go next maybe the ign coil or dakotas natorious pick up coil in the distributer ??????? please help needs to be fixed by wendsday when i finally get my licance

Did it runbefore you replaced the filter, pump, and pressure valve?

 

before u had to beat on the gas tang to get the pump to work but u could pour gas down the throttle body and it would start up after i replaced the pump i disconnected the batt and let it sit for bout 5 mins and then hooked it back up and it started right up and idled for like 6 or 7 mins then i went to move it and it died right when i put it in drive and im sure i am gettin gas i replaced plugs and wires and dist rotor and dist cap still nothing

 

my prob is fixed when i pulled the air box off the throttle body a accidently bumed the throttle position sensor and unpluged it so now it runs not perfect but decent but it doesnt help that it has bout 6 month old gas in it and im sure as hell not gonna dump it out i will burn it up and then go onto my next est $50 tank of gas lol these trucks are pretty torquey i took off like i would in my uncles 92 f150 with a 300 engine and usualy i dont get a cherp outta that truck and i hit my gas like that and left 2 thick black tire marks on the asphault lol for bout 6 or 7 ft lol oops o well
