Gas Gauge and Blower not working...
I searched the forums and I couldn't find anything, my gas gauge doesn't work. It shows the yellow gas pump symbol when I'm almost empty, but it doesn't show how much gas I have, it just stays on "e" all the time. Anyone had this problem before?
Also my blower doesn't work, the ac and heat work, I can feel them.. it just doesn't get blown inside the cab. Do I just pull out the blower on the bottom right(inside the cab), in front of the passenger seat, and test it with the battery.. and if it doesn't work get a new one?
Thanks for any help,
Regards,
John

I have power on both sides of all fuses in my fusebox. No power going to heater/fan control, is it possible there is a fusable link that is protecting this circuit? If so does anyone know where it would be located? I don't have user-manual for this vehicle, I lost it a long time ago.
ok, I put some chevron techron in my tank when it was almost dry, then I filled up at Citgo, hopefully that fixes the gas gauge. although I'm not too optomistic. For the blower, I can't seem to get it working. Am I able to just take the blower out and hook it up to the battery and test it like that? The switch to the blower doesn't seem to work. I'm not sure what my next step should be. Any help, a link to a guide or advice is appreciated.

Issue with Fuel gauge is related to the sender which is a known problem with these trucks.. The sender is in with the fuel pump in the tank..
Blower motor has to do possibly with blower resistor or another name is blower amplifier. Cheaper fix first than blower motor. Usual symptoms is blower motor only works on one speed, but, it can also kill the circuit completely preventing blower motor turn on. I would try the resitor fix first...

I'll replace the resistor, I've replaced this resistor already a few years ago. There is no power going to any of the terminals on the resistor, that's why I think there is some fusable link somewhere I don't know about. Anyway when I replace the resistor I'll let you know if that solves it.

I have the EXACT same two problems with my 95 Dakota. Except the sender in fuel tank works 10% of the time, when I get to a certain level it bounces to 1/2 full, even though my 22 gallon tank is not half empty. My blower works on HIGH only, which sucks lol.
I will defintiely look for that resistor. Can you be a tad more specific as where to find it, replacing that will be a new task for me, never done it before.
Thanks

it is under the glove box on the passenger side of the truck, in my truck you have to just about stand on your head in the seat to find it, but one you get to it then its not bad to replace and like i said, i think its like 15$ from your local stealership
ok, I bought a new resistor at the Dodge Dealership.
I went here:
Town & Country Jeep Chrysler
3156 Hempstead Tpke, Levittown, NY
(516) 796-5500
It cost $8 USD and change for a new resistor. After I put it in the blower didn't work as usual. There isn't power going to any of the terminals on the resistor(as usual), and there is no power going to any wires on the blower switch(as usual). Anyone know if there is a fusable link somewhere? All the fuses are good, power on both sides of each fuse. I'm not sure where to go from here. any help is appreciated
