Ok, I am doing a auto/manual swap. I put in a NV3500 into a 92 Dakota w/a 3.9. We are almost finished but now it will not crank up. We did ground the neutral safety switch to the chassis. We are totally confused of what this could be. I don't know if the crank sensor had anything to do with this but when we went to connect the manual crank sensor to the orig. harness it wouldnt fit so we cut the ends off of the wires and spliced the orig. crank sensor wire clip with the manual wire. Could that have anything to do with it? Thank you.
Ive been told that the 92/93 computer didnt interact with the tranny. If it doesnt rain tommorow we will yank the starter down and start checking wires.
