Default muffler ?

im planning onreplacing my flowmasters withsome magnaflows, do the mags come in series like the fm's? are all the mags the same? i want something that will sound better than fm on my 93 5.2 any answers will be appreciated.

magnaflows rate theirs in the size of them. I have an 18" on mine.iirc I think theres 24",20",18", and I just found out last week that they have a 14" out. I want it! mines loud as hell, but I want it louder. and magnaflow sounds waaaay better IMO.

did you have a 40 series on yours? I would gowith a 18" they sound good. I wanna hear what a 14" sounds like though.

cool, thanks for the info. yeah i have 40's on mine.id like to have it done monday, have to see if thewarden i mean wifey will let me do it.cut off the cat and ran duals, i think 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 pipe and 45 degree slant tips- down here we call them echo tips. it is LOUD!!! but no problems with the police. i can set off car alarms without getting on it

well now that i think about it i want to redo my whole exhaust. i think the pipe is 2 1/4. and with the flows it pops and clacks too much. i want to run 3 inch pipe, an H or X pipe and magnaflows. i think that will make the sound deeper and smoother. anyone else have an opinion?
