93 dakota, just won't start
i got a 93 3.9l v6, and at first the only thing i had probs with was the tranny, well this past weekend i replaced the tranny, 3 days later when all is said and done, the truck won't start, it started before i replaced the tranny, had to replace the starter cuz we broke it during installation, and same with the crankshaft position sensor, what i am having is while cranking the motor will sputter like it wants to fire up, we checked the spark and cranked it for about 45 secs to see if it is sparking, it is sparking but only sparks once and tried again next time it sparked twice and checked again and it sparked once, (this is from the plug in cylinder 1) I replaced the ignition coil, and the ignition pick-up any ideas?
anybody have any ideas, i'm pretty short on cash and have replaced everything i can think of, and i kinda need my truck to go to work, i don't get it, it worked fine before the new tranny and now nothing, like i said it turns over, and tries to start up, it's like only one or twopistons is fireing but nothing. PLEASE HELP!!
ok, my haynes book says there is a 10 amp fuse for the ignition along with a 20 amp, the 20 amp is located in the fuse box under the hood, i can not find the 10 amp, it is not in the fuse box in the cab. anybody know where it is located?
