How hard is it to install a head gasket in these trucks because I found a 1992 Extended Cab 318 v8in perfect shape for $300 it just need a head gasket.

I replaced them on my 3.9L. It wasn't overly difficult, just time consuming,. I did the work "Shade tree" style; also stopping to read the book every so often and take photos of stuff before I removed it.
It probablywill go faster if you are better set up than I was.
