RE: 1991 Dakota 5.2L Question
Well, I probably should have been more specific, but information like performance modifications I could do to a pre Magnum 5.2L. Like I previously stated I'm new to Dodge and really would like to know the "ins and outs" to the 5.2L. It seems like a good motor but I'm not sure for that year model truck. Everything I find, which isn't much, says it's fuel injected. Is that throttle body injection or something else. I don't think it's MPF Injected, right? How difficult would it be to rebuild (comparing say a 4.9L Ford to this engine)?

RE: 1991 Dakota 5.2L Question
it's throttle body injection, pretty easy to work on. and lots of aftermarket parts, they've been around since the 60's. 318's were the base engine for most of the muscle cars back in the day. I'd say easier than a ford engine to work on, since a ford is just a F*cked Over Rebuilt Dodge.
