rpm's at 50mph

I may be having trouble with my tranny (96 slr with 3.9 magnum ) auto . I am not sure if the tranny is locking up in high gear. I am turning 1600 at 50 mph.

you must have OD. mine revs at around 2k at 60mph

That sounds about right. At 50mph I run about 1800 RPM. OD kicks on the A500 kicks on at roughly 45mph.

never really looked at 50, but mine is at 2000rpms at 70.
