confusion...
Hey, I have a confusing situation. I replaced my cd deck to an alpine cd deck and everything went perfectly smooth (even disconnected the battery while installing cd player). Turned on ignition after the new deck is installed and it works great and plays fine, and everything is as usual.
So then I go to move the truck out of my garage only to find out that it won't start!?Checked all the fuses in the fuse panel andeverything isok. Checked under the hood in the fuse panel and checked those fuses (the3little fuses inbetween the relaysand stuff) and they were fine too.
And thats about where I left off. Its a 94 dakota 318. When I turn the ignition on to start the headlights do not dim (battery is not dead), but however i do hear a little "click" from under the hood (not the starter). This "click" seems to be coming from the fuse panel under the hood that I checked out (the one near the battery).
Anyways, I'm stumped any help would be awesome! Thank you for any input!

I had a very similar situation when I replaced my headlight switch the other day. It ended up being a fuse for me. If I remember correctly, it was the 20A fuse in the lower right part of the fuse panel (if I was looking up at it with my feet hanging out of the driver side). I would check that fuse again, and if its not that then I have no idea. Maybe the ignition switch went out coincidentally? Have you tried jump starting the truck? Maybe the battery has enough juice to get the stereo going, but not enough to get the starter to click.
Just some ideas I thought I'd throw out there.
Let us know what happens!
