I think I'm missing something. What stops the water (rain, mudbog) from swamping the intake? I got a scoop that came withe truck but it is not cut in. I want to cut it in but I couldn't fingure out how to keep the water out of the air cleaner that sit just belowit. A SS screen would keep the bugs and other solids out but not water. A redirect or trap of some kind would defeat most of the benefits of the scoop. Or am I thinking into it too much?
