I have a 1990 Dakota convertible with a 3.9L - 5 speed. My glove box lock is not working. I don't have a key and have never locked it. It seems that the lock handle does not activate the release finger. How do I remove the lock from the glove box door?

I think the best advie is to drill out the key hole. that should release everything. go to a junkyard and buy a new lock since you dont use the key to lock it, it shouldnt bother you. or just brake the latch that it holding onto and get a new one (deler or junkyard) or weld it back together(very lightly).
