Mopar performance computer
I belive you can. I belive the wires are all the same. I dont know what the diffence is. When I bought mine it sayes 92-93. I dont know why there not all the same. Most likely it would have to do with emisions. I belive the systems changed a little over the few years. I would say the engine should run good with it. It might give you an emission code but no big deal I think. I took out all of my emissions stuff and all I get is a EGR code whenever the enginge gets pushed hard like towing or something. I say try it.
It recomends that you use 92 octane but you dont need to. Its only for the best performance. So what I do is buy 92 when I can but when the prices get to high I will use 86. It also recomends you have 180 thermosat and high engergy coil wires and plugs. Along with low ristristion exhast. I did notice a difference. Now I have a 5.9 RT in my truck so the high per. comp. kicks as*.
Its the easyest way to gain more power. The gears are just fun when you launch your truck it will slam you back in your seat. I love it. My girlfriend gets mad when I play with it like that she says "Your making me feel like a boble head" when you get the complement from slaming your truck back with that torque you know you got it going good.
