I have a 93 dodge dakota 3.9 v6. The three red w/white strip wires near the battery and fuse box under the hood came apart. I got a guy who works at a dealership garage to fix it. I put a new ignition switch in also. It will start and run fine...but it will not shut off and the dash lights ramain on. The only way I can kill the engine is to disconnect the wires the guy fixed...HELP!!!!
I would say the wires are crossed. I would check out the ASD (auto shut down) relay. It sounds like the wire is an all time power and not a power only at on.
