Default Truck smells rich, like unburned fuel?

I have another post about smog problems, if my truck smells real rich, like unburned fuel, is that signs of a bad EGR? or something else? It's the V8 by the way.....

Sorry for the similar post......

I checked the EGR tonight and it seems to be working fine, I tested it with the truck running. I went ahead for piece of mind afterwards and pulled it off to clean it too. It looks like it may be the O2 sensor then. If my O2 was bad wouldn't I get fault code?

You won't alway get a fault code, it just helps when you do
