Has anyone purchased headlights on ebay for their Dakota? Just wondering how the plastic holds up on the cheapie lights over the years. I need to replace my lights...

 

What's wrong with yours?

Mine had a haze grow over one, I used some Flitz and a ball/cordless drill and buffed it out.

Easier than replacing.

 

They are yellowed and pretty dim. I've tried fine grit wet sandpaper on them and toothpaste (an old rodders trick) but the problem seems to be deeper than the surface of the lense.

 

If anyone knows of aftermarket lights let me know I'm trying to find something to replace the horrible stock ones

 

Ya Ihave bought them. There okay. The black holder that they came with broke on me but the light works no problems. Just use your holder if it is good. Mine was a deep yellow so I replaced them. The head light restores didnt work! I have had them for 2 or 3 years now. Its worth it if nothing else works.

I've been wondering about those as well. If you search Ebay close, you can get both for $64.
