408 stroker in 318 block

Default 408 stroker in 318 block

anyone know if a 408 stroker kit will work in a 318 block or only in the 360

for more info. All I have seen is for the 360's, but maybe you can with a 318!

A "408" stroker is for a 4' stroke and a 4.03 bore . But you can get a lttle smaller stroker kit for the 318 in a standard overbore size . 392 is the biggest if I remember right .

You can do a 402.

Stroking a 318 is really not worth it. You'd get alot more out of a 360. Even a slightly built 360 block would be better than a stroked 318.
