Default Differntial cover

Hey does anybody know where I can get a fairly cheap chrome or black diff cover. I looked on ebay but all they had was the 9.25 which I think is for the 94. My 93 has a 8.25 in the back and a 7.25 in the front I think I would like to find one for the front too. I looked at JCW and found this
http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/P...ferntial+cover

but im a little confused about where it says addtional info for Dana 25, 27 and 30 (thru 1985) for all Dana 44.
I've look at all the most of all the parts sites and could notfind anything. If you guys know anything give a shout.

The only dakotas that came with a 9.25 is the RT models. The 2nd gen. trucks. To me it looks like the web site thinks you have a dana axle. I would call jcw over the phone they have more info than the web site.

I found one on ebay for the 8.25 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-6...QQcmdZViewItemIt may be over by the time you get to it but email the seller he might have more. Or try summitracing.com they have one from mopar performance for the 8.25 http://store.summitracing.com/partde...p;autoview=sku
He is right chrome does retain heat. But I would think you will be okay.

chrome retains heat huh.. hmm well then I may just clean it up and paint my stock cover high temp black. but Id like to find one for the front end but Ill try summitracing and see what they have thx crazy. One more thing not related to this, Do I have to put the heat shields back on the spark plugs cause I really hate those things, there a pain to get off.

No problem! Its the best thing, to leave it on. You dont need tokeep it, but themore heat you can keep from your plugs and wires the more power and life you will get with them.
