Default Heater Question

Hi again,

I've run across another minor problem with my 88 Dakota. For the first time this yearit got cold outso I turned my heater on, so far so good, lots of heat, good air flow, but I noticed when I shut the engine off the heater blower continued to blow. This could be a real problem for my battery if I ever forget to shut it off.

I know that in the trucks past there has been alot of weird electrical things done to the truck, for fog lights and switches that I have no idea what they were used for. I disconnected all of these potential problem areas and had no other problems. All the dash lights, radio andguages work just fine including the stupid little shift light, so I've got no idea why the blower motor would continue to run on after the engine has shut down. Somehow they must havecreated a constant hot feed when doing their other electrical mod's.

So I guess my question is, has anyone run across this type of problem before and if so how did they diagnose and fix it?

Thanks in advance

F.O.G.
