94 lift kit? how high
I was wondering in my 94 Dakota SLT Club cab 4x4. I have found a few lifts but its like $2600... Any way to get about 2-4 inchs without just blocking the rear and torquing the front torsion bars?
For the rear you can add leafs or get them rebent. I got a rams 2500 leaf springs and that lifted me concetrably higher. For the front you can by a torsion bar lift key (they sell them on ebay for $80). It does work! Thats what I have up front and I take it hard core off roading and no problems with it. The onlyresriction on the front are the cv axles you dont want to make them too much of a angle. You could also do air shocks in the back. They dont make air shocks for the front but if you realy want to you can make one fit somehow. The more air you put in the higher it will go. I only put 20psi and that lifts it like a 1/4 of an in. (I dont use it for my lift)It can take 150psi so just imagine how tall that will be. After all of it I might have a 4up front and 5 at back. I never mesuared before so I dont know but now I have enogh room to clear 35s if I waned to. I have 33s now. Oh ya and the full susp. kit is 1,600 http://www.rockymountainsusp.com/dodge_dak4WD.htm.
Performancecenter.com has one on sale for $1300. Wish I had the money to get it right now.

thanks guys but $1300 hundred for 4 inchs. thats a little on the steep side. I was thinking 2 inch now and just block the rear and raise the bars. How much do I gain from the front just doing it that way.

2 inch body lift kit for $112. If you do the torsion/block for another 2 inches that will give you 4 inches total. So it can be done for about $200. The kits you are looking at are suspension lifts, they are for really serious off-roading. The body lift will give you clearance for bigger tires and is probably sufficient.
