so i used the emergency brake.. took off the emergency brake off.. and the brake light in the dash is still on.

the truck rolls fine.. the brake is no longer on (i played with the cable underneath) .. but the light wont go off.

what should i do to get the light off?

pull the E-brake release handle and hold it while you push the e-brake lever out all the way. If that doesnt work, check your fluid levels.

 

My interior brake light was on as well as my abs light and my iterior light was not working. The interior light was replaced and the 10 amp fuse was blown. I replaced both and all the lights are now off.
