Default Truck stalls after 15 mins

Hi guys, maybe you can help me out. My 89 Dakota starts fine when cold, however, after about 15 mins of running, the truck stalls. When I try to turn it on again, it doesn't even spark. However, if I wait for an hour to let the truck cool down again, it will start again. What could be the issue here? Thanks.

check the codes first. turn the key on and of three times. then count the number of flashes the check engine light does. it works in pairs, 2-4 then 2-3 then 3-4, whatever. count them, pair them off then check them with the manual. if you don't have a manual then post here, someone will give the meaning of that code. once your sensors are checked, then the problem can be narrowed down.

Sounds like a bad hall device/pick up sensor in the distributor or a bad coil.
