Hello, and first issue.
A couple cold days later ( over a couple of weeks
) and it has a new fuel pump, and seems to be doing just fine on that front.
Took it around town a little bit, no problems at all with power under load.
Next comes the front end. Next time I buy a vehicle that might need some self-service, I'm doing it in the summer
.
Still have a pull to the left, and about two inches of steering wheel wiggle.
I'll be following the manual for an inspection though, first place said the front-end was nice and tight, second place said it all was about to fall apart on me. Fun.
And maybe I'm just not used to it, but doesn't seem to ride as smooth as I would expect, maybe shocks all around as well, we will see. Anyone have a good test for those?
And the saga continues, twice now had to try twice to start it ( out of 20 times I recollect since it sat for a while, so not too bad ) and the starter spun, the littel do-hicky didnt' engage the flywheel, no grinding, just spinned, so stopped, let it spin down, and did it again, and worked fine. Also those were on cold almost single digit mornings, so might not have to worry about that yet.
