throttle and/or cruise ctrl cables.
1995 - 318 - xcab - 4wd - auto
well, while trying to change my MAp sensor ( chasing a major bog above idle ) and had to remove the throttle body to remove the stuck screws holding the thing on. problem: i broke the end of the cruise control cable, the little plastic end that snaps onto the throttle body linkage. is there a "fix" for this, other than replacing the cable ?

I have seen people tie them down with thick wire. But your best bet is get new ones. or junkyard. try dealership and if you cant get one for a dakota. a rams will work.
