Default 3.9 conversion to 5.2l 318

i found a 1970s 318. i have a 1996 dodge dakota with the 3.9 will this be an easy swap or no? it comes with everything.

"1970 318 complete with carb, elderbrock intake, exhuast manifolds, wiring, mount, alternator, belts pullys, oil pan. Pulled when running only a few months ago. Around 70k miles on the motor"

That is what the ad says.

It will not be as easy if you had the 318magnum engine. But it is posible. You will need to change motor mounts change all wiring There is alot involved. But if you can get ahold of a 318 mag. the motor mounts do work and you can use you stalk wires and just add 2 for the fuel injectors and change the comp.

Does this apply also if the 318 came from another Dak of the same year? Haven't checked if it is a magnum or not yet. That is why I ask?

If the motor came out of a 96 dak then the 318 is a magnum and yes you could do that swap only thing you would have to change is the mounts and beileve you can even you your 3.9 tranny
