My 89 3.9 V6 was bought new and it set from Nov. 2000 til christmas of last year without even been started. I put a new radiator, distributor cap, rotor button, fuel pump and filter, and an O2 sensor and it runs like brand new.. Dodge is a damn good vehicle

my '94 dakota has 86,000 ithas the 3.9 mag. it is still reliable even after i had an acident on a dirt road and rolled it in to a ditch at 40mph the motor was still running after it came to a stop(upside down) when it was back on all 4s i hopped in and it started first try...if it had tranny fluid in it i could have drove it home...........all in all this is a solid ,reliable truck and it still runs like a top, it is pushing a little over 200hp as of now
