i know im gonna sounds stupid on this one, but i need to know the exact battery that my 96 needs..the a-hole i bought it from had the right battery in it and then switched it out when i came to pick it up after inspection for a smaller one. if anyone could help, it would be great...this week has been horrible for me so far.

 

like does it have to be a big marine battery? or what, i just wanna make sure i know what im doing. thanks guys

 

I just throw a 925CCA comercial type battey, exide and it works great, never recharged it in 2 years. sort of pricey but it worth it

maybe, 100-150 at most. I advise you to stay away from motormaster batteries. Name brands like Exide, Interstate etc would be fine.

I used a Duralast Gold 900CCA, very tough battery! It ran about 80 bucks if my mind serves me right!

 

I have an interstate 800cca and its never failed on me yet.
