Helping a buddy
Well hello my fellow dodge owner friends. My buddy has a 95 dakota 4x4with the V6 3.9? Well i'm sure this question has been asked a million times on here but i did a search and didn't find what i wanted to know exactly. I know on my trucks and the Rams in general if the truck is having issues with idleing its the IAC motor. Well is this the common solution to that problem with these trucks as well, its my buddies like a stated and I don't wanna toss parts at it un needed as they are in a tight space money wise. It pops up a code of 32, if anyone knows what that is that would be stellar. This is his problem exactly.... Not everytime but quite often when he goes to stop the truck will die like its not getting enough fuel. Its done this over the coarse of the 8 years he has owned said truck. If it was my 99 ram i would be almost inclined to say it was the IAC motor, but like I stated I don't know if these trucks have any other common issues that causes this. Anyone that is cool enough to come back with some feedback would be greatly appricated.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
Intresting it pops up with a code 32..my understanding is that a code 32 is usually a EGR problem. I know that 96's dont have an EGR, not too sure about 95's. Here is a websight that gives what most codes mean:

thank you thank you... I haven't really looked much into this problem yet i'm just carrying over informationI know about rams in hope they are the same concepts. I know someone at some point cut the wiring harness on the vehical and it was put back together as aposed to a new harness, which i'm going to look into that as well. They said the vehical has done this before the harness was cut by a ex girlfriend. I'm still leaning towards the IAC motor thought, but i'll look to the cause of it posting a EGR comment. Anyone else have any thoughts on this?
96's don't have EGR, 95's do, if the computer is telling you it's the EGR, trust me, it's the EGR. Just replaced one on my '95 4 monthes ago, took 8 minutes, cost me $80 at auto stoned and they are cheaper I hear at advanced
