I'm replacing the clutch and a few other parts of my 89 dakota transmission.... and I was wondering if the Retainer Assembly is the same as the input shaft bearing retainer. I looked through the part catologs and they seem similar. Before I order a "Retainer Assembly" (part number 4338298), I need to make sure it will work. Any help would be great.
