ontop of my 1995 dakota v6 3.9 mag i have a 1993 dakota 3.9 v6 2wd i want to get a 440 for it and if i do what would be a good rearend in it like a ford 9inch or what and gear ratios would be cool to. im buliding this up to beat my cousins 1992 mustang 5.0 ho, we have both been trash talking for a while and with his tax return money he got it and now i have to work on the truck any comments on this and thanks

Just borrow a dakota with a 318 ci and tell him you'll race him up hill....
Incidently, I ran with a 4.6 Stang on the highway. Took him from 100 km/hr to 140 km/hr, at which point he started walking away from me.
