will my 318 beat a 5.0

Default will my 318 beat a 5.0

i have a 93 dakota with 318 magnum 3speed auto. do u think it would take a stock 5.0 5 speed

A stock 318 no. But if you do some mods. You have a good chance not to be to far behind. When I got my truck I raced a chevy impalla with a 454 that was well built and I sat at his back bumper the hole time. And it would help if you can get some hot chick to do the count down so he is distracted. Altough I lost I was happy because of all sh*t he was taking and he couldnt shake me off.

a stalk dakota probably not, I have a 92' With the 318 and pretty much all the mods u can do on the exterior of the engine, also has 4.10's and a well built trans, a friend of mine has a 87' Mustang GT and 0-100 he is just killin the thing trying to keep up haha but on the top end truck has no chance

yeah, my '93 beats the stangs off the line if they are stock, but with mods I have trouble, but atleast I can keep up
