Interior cuztomization.
Just curious as to what types of do it yourself interior modifications people have done on these trucks.
I'm trying to think of some that I can do to just make my truck different than all the rest. I'm not talking "show quality modifications" or anything. Just some minor mods to set it apart from all the rest. I think a custom head liner is one easy mod. Spray gluing carpet underlay, cut out into a pattern of some sort on the headliner board.... then spraying it with 3M glue and re-covering it... thus leaving a raised pattern on the headliner. I'll probably put a slightly more modern steering wheel on it. I guess where I'm really stumped is the dash/instrument panel. That square, plain, look is just.... well.... boring.

I've seen one Dakota where the owner took off the cheesy "woodgrain" bezels and actually did his own out of real wood, it looked cool as hell, I don't know where I saw those pics otherwise I'd post them or the link
There's people that redo the sun visors and stitch in what you want. The seats can be taken out for Viper seats. The door paddings can be replaced to leather and stitched with stuff. I've also seen the wood grain redone into real wood, carbon fibre, or just painted truck color.
The white cluster gauges, back seat(if CC) taken out and redone up with something nice.
Most all of it has to be custom made, they don't make crap for these trucks.
I've customized everything on my truck, but I won't touch the interior, except gauges.

I've just added, made an aluminum mount which has push button start electric fan switch and 2 indicator lights. Also just a tach and underdash and under seat lights. Nothing fancy.
i replaced the wood grain with stanless steel and painted the black guage cluster cover ...painted it silver metallic and painted black ram horns on it, it looks cool as hell ,also you can get duplicolorvinyl and fabric paint i found at advance
