fuse panel question

Default fuse panel question

i need to know what the fuse is labeled on the fuse panel for my headlights in my 89 dakota and what amp fuse i need

Look in the FAQs sticky on the top of the Gen 1 forum. There is a link to a copy of the 1990 wiring diagrams. It appears there is a fusible link around the left side strut tower, you may want to check that. According to that wiring diagram, power for the headlights aren't routed through fuses (in 1990, I highly doubt they had a fuse in 1989, and got rid of it in 1990, just to add a fuse a few years later). There is a circuit breaker internal to the light switch, but I'd look at that fusible link.
