Default Accelerator Cable

I have a 1996 Dakota 3.9L that has a frayed acclerator cable. It needs to be replaced, but Chrysler no longer makes it. They make them for the 2.5, 5.2, and 5.9, but not the 3.9. Can anyone tell me how to get one other than having to go to a salvage yard?

Thanks,
B

Have you tried E-bay? Salvage yard would be the other option. I think Lokar makes a cable, but that's spending 2x-3x more than what you would with a stock one.
