hey all stoping in to say hi..


im a owner of a 91 dokota sport 5.2.. story about the truck is my dad bought it new back in 91 i then bought it from him when i turned 16. i then sold the truck about 5 years down the road to buy a 95 ram. i ended up in a head on with my ram in 99 i then side im done with trucks and bought a 3000gt vr4. now comes to today i ran into the guy that bought my old truck and he said he is going to sell it. so i said ill buy it back. and one thing led to another i got it back.... well now it has a TCI tranny with a 2700 stall trany in it that has 300 miles on it and it just stoped one day. i get that tranny + the stocker. he has done a few things to it put headers on and a 340 rv cam and a 360 crank with 360 heads... hell i got a spare 383 siting here saying please put me in there but i dont think i will inless i blow the motor. what i would like to do is turbo it.
so if any one would like to point me to the right place to turbo the 5.2 let me know all help is welcome

Cool story on the Dakota.

 

Most people would go for a supercharger due to the lack of low end power turbos give off. But if thats what your looking for here is a post. https://dodgeforum.com/m_369021/tm.htm
Do a search and you will get alot of posts. Also try the supercharger nitrous turbo forum.
One universal kit is a kit that mouts the turbos out back. If you do get it done post up some pics.

 

I've heard very good things about the remote turbo (turbo out back), and there are a lot of guys with Hemi Rams running them here, sounds cool as hell on the Hemi.
