Default need help please.......!!!!!!

we need toknow were isnumber 1 on the distributer we tuned the shaft to 0 on the bottom and the truck will start and turn over but wont idle....sumbody please help.....1987 v6 dodge dakota....my number is 615-586-1957....thanks micheal....

Here are the steps to reinstall the ditributor, along with the correct firing order/rotation.

okay now i got another problem it now turns over but it wont idle without foot on gas........now what do we do....

Look on the back of the throttle body.It's called theidle air control valve (or idle speed control... or several other names that it could be). It's a pintle that moves in and out, and sometimes it doesn't move. Try cleaning it, and the throttle body.
