Default need some help

hi i have a 1993 dakota extended cab and one day i was doin some work under the hood and when i closed it the hinge on the right side raises the hood about 2 inches and i cant get it to sit level with the fender if anyone knows wat happend and how to fix it let me know.

What kind of shape is the hinge in when the hood is open? Did it pull away from the body? Spring broken? hinge bent? Something's going on if it won't allow the hood to sit flush...let us know what you find out.

Sounds like the hinge came loose. Probably just need to readjust it (they slide on bolts on the hood itsself and on bolts under hood) and retighten the bolts. But there are a few other possibilities. Like bluesfool said above, check it out, and post back with info and any other questions.
