Default skid plate design

alright i was cleanin out the back shed and ran across a few 29"x20" squares of diamond plate alum. i decided that im going to use one to make a skid plate, now i was looking for some of your opinions on how i should mount it

I was thinking using long bolts from the raidiator core support and from the front cross member there where the A arms attach

That will look good! I have it bolted to the frame and to the bumper where I have a Thick plate Hidden behind the bumper whichit bolts to. As you can tell I beat the Sh*t out of it andonly haveput a small dent on it. This site has a good Discription of a skid plate. http://www.walt-n-ingrid.com/modifications.html#Skid

Update: I used my schools plasma cutter to cut the diamond plate to length and I started work at home on mounting brackets for it, ive gotten as far as made and mounted the one front bracket that is attached to the core radiator support bracket. Tomorrow I will work on getting back brackets made up and the plate mounted.

Its just bolted on loosly right now, still haven't made back brackets for the front i welded a nut onto the back of the bracket and then mounted the bracket, mounted the plate to the bracket with a 3/8" Hex Cap screw,
